Cute Fruit Smoothies
Kids love a smoothie, but it's good to mix things up and get out of your standard recipe funk. Try these tasty-twists on the classic fruit smoothie recipes featuring ingredients like persimmon, avo and pineapple. We promise they're delish.
Persimmon, blackberry and lemon smoothie
Makes 1 cup
You'll need:
- 1 Fuyu persimmon, chopped
- 3/4 cup frozen blackberries
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 2 ice cubes
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- pinch of cinnamon
To make:
- Pop all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Pineapple, banana and avocado smoothie
Makes 1 cup
You'll need:
- 1/2 cup pineapple, including the core
- 1/2 cup ripe banana
- 1 tbsp avocado
- 1/4 cup coconut cream or coconut yoghurt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
To make:
- Pop all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and fluffy.

Pear, ginger, kiwi and lemon smoothie
Makes 1 cup
You'll need:
- 1 cup pear
- 1 kiwifruit, peeled
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 mint leaves
- 1/2 cup water
- ice, for serving
To make:
- Pop all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve over ice.
